The Chesapeake Bay Foundation facilities learning experiences for local students, including the three-day Smith Island expedition nearly 30 students were able to take part in just before spring break in late March.

As spring break approached, students at J.E.J. Moore Middle School were able to get up-close and personal to a hot-air balloon as part of a culminating activity spanning reading and science.
