The Feet Meet is a unified track and field meet where students with and without intellectual disabilities partner to train and represent their school at the high school sports complex. This event promotes physical activity, forming new friendships, encouraging teamwork, and inspiring leadership and unity among our school community.
Over 500 students and staff from the district's five elementary schools, J.E.J. Moore Middle School, N.B. Clements Jr. High School, and Prince George High School, are expected to come together to take part in events, volunteer, and be part of the fun and uplifting experiences the Feet Meet produces every year.
Opening ceremonies for the Feet Meet will begin at 10:00 a.m. or once all school delegations arrive, with student events starting shortly afterward.
Spectators will be permitted to park in the lot behind the press box at the athletic field and cheer on the Little Feet Meet participants from the home stands.
Local businesses and community organizations interested in supporting the Feet Meet event can contact event organizer Peter Herzing at [email protected] or (804)-733-2745.
Note: The rain date is Monday, April 28, 2025.
